In response to Greg Miller's letter in the October 1 lth issue of the Seal Beach Sun, the
Seal Beach Boulevard Business Assoc. would like to clarify our position. Mr. Miller's
letter and his"petition to be signed"was publicized without the knowledge or consent of
the majority of the SBBBA. We apologize for any inconvenience should someone mis-
takenly come into our businesses to sign a petition that has not been seen, nor was ap-
proved by majority vote of our members.
The SBBBA was created by the businesses and property owners of a two block section
of Seal Beach Blvd. to address issues unique to this area. By coordinating our efforts
and opening a dialogue with our elected officials and City Hall, we are hopeful that we
can resolve our issues in a way that will be beneficial to all concerned. It is our desire that
this association not be used as any individual's political forum, but as one that includes
the needs of the community as a whole to create a better living and working environment
for everyone.
Sincerely,
The members of the SBBBA
