RESOLUTION NO. .;;/"S-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, ENDORSING THE CONCEPT OF THE GOLDEN STATE SENIOR
DISCOUNT PROGRAM FOR SENIOR CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH
WHEREAS, the Golden State Senior Discount Program is a technical assistance
program to encourage development of community discount programs in
Cal ifornia; and
WHEREAS, the intent of the program is to increase the purchasing power of
senior citizens and help to stabilize their standard of living; and
~rnEREAS, we hope to generate an awareness in the community in general, and
the business community in particular, of the many contributions
senior citizens have made to our society.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Seal
Beach endorses and supports the concept of the Golden State Senior Discount
Program for senior citizens of the City of Seal Beach.
