A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE
EXPENDITURES TO VALVERDE CONSTRUCTION,
INC. FOR WATER METER VAULT RELOCATION
PURSUANT TO ON-CALL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City owns and maintains the water system; and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to relocate a water,.meter vault; and,
WHEREAS, the City has entered , into an On -Call Professional Services
Agreement with Valverde Construction; Inc. (Valverde)'on March 8, 2021; and,
WHEREAS, Valverde submitted a proposal dated August 3, 2022 to the City to

relocate the water meter vault (Project); arid',;,, >b
WHEREAS, Valverde is a qualified firm to perform the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
Section 1. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to approve
expenditures to Valverde Construction Inc. to relocate a water
meter vault, for a not -to -exceed amount of $45,200, pursuant to
the March 8, 2021 On -Call Professional Services Agreement
between the City and Valverde Construction, Inc.
Section 2. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to approve
additional work requests in the cumulative not -to -exceed amount of
$10,000.

regular meeting held on the 14th day of November, 2022 by the following vote:
