A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
THE SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH
TYLER TECHNOLOGIES
WHEREAS, The City of Seal Beach (City) entered into a Software as a Service
Agreement with Tyler Technologies to implement a new land management software
system for land use entitlements and building permit issuance, and,
WHEREAS, the City requires changes to the original scope in order to convert historic
data and build necessary reports; and,
WHEREAS, Tyler Technologies is a highly qualified firm as the vendor of the product,
and will serve the needs of the City; and,
WHEREAS, City and Consultant wish to amend the Agreement to achieve
implementation of the software.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1 . The City Council hereby approves Amendment 1 to the Software as a
Service Agreement with Tyler Technologies Inc. in the total amount of
$47,466, including $27,466 for Land Management Software and $20,000
for a contingency for anticipated additional training and reconfiguration in
Tyler Incode, as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference as though set forth in full.
Section 2. The Council hereby directs the City Manager to execute the Amendment on
behalf of the City.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the Seal Beach City Council at a regular
meeting held on the 9th day of January, 2023 by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members: Kalmick, Massa-Lavitt, Moore, Sustarsic, Varipapa
NOES: Council Members: None
ABSENT: Council Members: None
ABSTAIN: Council Members: None
