HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Res 7460 2023-10-23 RESOLUTION 7460 A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DIXON RESOURCES UNLIMITED DATED JUNE 14, 2021, TO AUTHORIZE ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND TO INCREASE THE COMPENSATION BY A ONE-TIME INCREASE OF $25,650 OR $2,850 PER MONTH TO THE CURRENT PROGRAM MANAGEMENT MONTHLY FLAT-RATE FEE, FOR A TOTAL MONTHLY COST OF $6,600 DURING THE REMAINING NINE (9) MONTHS OF THE CONTRACT TERM AND A TOTAL NOT-TO- EXCEED AMOUNT OF $160,650 FOR THE THREE-YEAR TERM. WHEREAS, the City previously entered into a Professional Services Agreement with Dixon Resources Unlimited for the provision of parking management consulting services for the Seal Beach Police Department; and, WHEREAS, the current scope of service provided by Dixon Resources Unlimited has been exceeded by increased demands for services related in part to the creation of the Citizen-Council Parking Ad Hoc Advisory Committee and other scheduled meetings and services. NOW, THEREFORE, the Seal Beach City Council does resolve, declare, determine, and order as follows: Section 1 . Approving Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement to the Professional Services Agreement with Dixon Resources Unlimited dated June 14, 2021 as set forth in Exhibit B to the staff report accompanying this Resolution; and, Section 2.
