We understand we purchased a property next to a station 25 years ago. That said, we have been adamantly against adding beer and wine sales to this Chevron Station. My teenage daughter’s room looks right over the station. She already deals with the noise from people going in and out of the station late into the evening. In addition, we do get trash thrown over the wall and in the ivy around unit 220. The usual trash is monster energy cans and chip bags. 2 Also, where would these additional convenience store patrons park? Currently the rear the station is relatively quiet at night. Patrons parking there to purchase beer and wine would increase noise levels and negatively impact our community. Myself and our community have been opposing this since 2006. The current Seal Beach zoning strictly forbids this due to its proximity to parks and housing. Please uphold the current zoning and do not grant a variance.
