Chino Hills, CA 91';0,) (909)364-2600 600 This letter is provided to you in support of Dr. Gregg DeNicola. I have known Gregg for 55 years, originally meeting him in high school. Starting from those early days, I have admired Gregg for so many of his inherent qualities, among them his natural leadership ability, integrity, resolve, intellect, loyalty to those around him, and the ability to create wonderful things to be enjoyed and appreciated. I've been privileged to watch Gregg make a mark and build a distinctive track record as a community leader. For 40 years, he has made a difference with countless individuals as a leading physician in Orange County. He founded Caduceus Medical Group, growing it from a small operation to 25 years of expansion through Orange County. At the present, he is Caduceus CEO. Previously, he also founded Prospect Medical Group, another leading medical practice in the area. These Medical Groups have been successful not only for their unique "brands", but for delivery of superior service with a strong focus on high touch with their patients. I've always known Gregg to be an avid history buff. I watched him rebuild two classic Chevy's and collect (and protect) memorabilia that honors our Dodgers and Lakers. This interest also extends to his home of Orange County, and the County's preservation of its history for current and future generations. He has served on the Board of the Laguna Beach Historical Society and is a former Board President. His Caduceus Medical Group occupies the historic Packing House in Yorba Linda, which he was instrumental in helping to restore and showcase, And he founded the Citrus Historic and Preservation League to help pay homage to the trains that traversed Orange County and the Citrus Industry which was so important to its growth. Gregg purchased the Sunset Beach Water Tower as this too was something he was very interested in as an Orange County resident, and he could continue his passion of supporting history and preservation while also maintaining its function as a single-family residence. His goal is the goal I've always known Gregg to have: to make history come alive for others. In this case, he would continue to make this unique Water Tower something very special and a source of pride for the region. As the Mayor of Chino Hills, I know what it is like to rally for various causes and to educate others - fellow city leaders, residents, and public agencies in their pursuit. As I know Gregg and have seen him lead efforts and make an impact for 55 years, I cannot recommend anyone more qualified and committed to lead the efforts to create preserve and celebrate the Sunset Beach Water Tower as the unique community fixture that it is. Yours very truly, _ Peter J. Roge .- Mayor
