Home My WebLink AboutCC Ord 1210 1986-02-10 ORDINANCE NUMBER ~~~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH ADDING SECTION 28-800 PERMITTED USES (3)(e) TO CHAPTER 28, ARTICLE 8, HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ZONE ESTABLISHING GENERAL PROVISIONS AND LIMITATIONS ALLOWING ACCESSORY COMMERCIAL USES WHICH SERVE ONLY TENANTS AND GUESTS OF LARGE RESIDEN- TIAL COMPLEXES THROUGH THE ADOPTION OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: III Section 1, That Section 28-800(3)(e) is hereby added to Article 8 of Chapter 28 of the Code of the City of Seal Beach, California is to read as follows: Section 28-800. Permitted Uses. (3) The following uses subject to issuance of a Conditional Use Permit: Add "(e) Residential complexes of 150 units or more may be permitted assessory commercial uses subject to the following conditions and limitations: 1. All uses and services shall be designed for the specific convenience of the residents and their guests. 2, All uses shall be conducted wholly within an enclosed building. 3. All access to the accessory use shall be from a lobby, patio, courtyard or interior walkway. 4, No signage for such accessory use shall be visible from any public or private street. I 5. That a valid City Business License shall be obtained for all operations. Section 2. If any section. subsection, sentence. clause, phrase. part or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of the Ordinance, The City Council declares that it would have adopted this Ordinance and section, subsection. sentence. clause, phrase. part of portion thereon irrespective of the fact that anyone or more sections, subsections, clauses. phrases, parts or portions be declared invalid or unconstitutional Section 3. The City Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published as required by law and same shall take effect as provided by law.
