SECTION 16-4(b) OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH RELATING TO THE POWERS. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RECREATION AND PARKS COMMISSION. I THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Article II of Chapter 16 of the Code of the City of Seal Beach is hereby amended by amending Section 16-4 (b) to read as follows: (b) The functions of this department are to provide opportunities for wholesome. year-round public recreation service for each age group. to develop and maintain in an attractive and safe manner the recreation and park areas and facilities of the City and to insure that such facilities are suitable for a wide variety of recreation purposes. Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be published as required by law and the same shall take effect as provided by law. ~rJ.5.
