Home My WebLink AboutCC Ord 1180 1985-04-22 ORDINANCE NUMBER I'/~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 28, ~~:!CLE 8 OF THE SEAL BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PLACEMENT OF THIRD STORIES ON LOTS WITH WIDTHS OF 37.5 FEET OR MORE ALONG SEAL WAY. THE CITY COUNC.IL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY OROAIN: I Section 1. Chapter 28, Article 8, High Density Residential Zone (R-3 Zone) is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 28-801 General Provisions, Lot Size, Open Space, Bulk and Yards. (6) Maximum Building Height, Main Building: Lot widths, less than 37-1/2 ft. - District 1..........2 stories, 25 ft. maximum District II, VI........................35 ft. Lot Widths, 37-1/2 ft. or more - District I...Front 1/2 of lot 2 stories, 25 ft. maximum; .............Rear 1/2 of lot 3 stories, 35 ft. maximum * Districts II, VI................................. ..35 ft. *Lots on Seal Way may locate a third story equal to the total square foot area allowed in the rear 1/2 of the lot with no limitation on placement, but shall be subject to required yards. Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be published as required by law and the same shall take effect as proveded by law.
