MANNER OF CONNECTION - ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 26, water and drainage is hereby amended by amending Section 26-5 to read as follows: Sec. 26-5. Manner of Connection - Additional Requirements: A. When the property to be served is a part or subdivision of a lot or lots originally abutting on a water main but because of subdivision has been separated from such main by another property, the service shall be laid to and meter installed at the nearest curb line or such point as may be designated by the superintendent of the water department. B. The charge for water service is to start from the date the meter is installed. When new subdivisions are opened and new mains desired, the subdivider shall pay for such service at cost and plus ten percent. I Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be published as required 6y law and the same shall take effect as provided by law.
