Home My WebLink AboutCC Ord 1178 1985-02-25 OROINANCE NUMBER .I1;1~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE I OF THE SEAL BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO GARBAGE, TRASH AND WEEDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: I Section 1. Chapter 10, Article I, Section 10-3.1 of the Code of the City of Seal Beach, California is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 10-3.1 TamperinR with Rarbage or refuse. No person, other than the owner thereof, his agents or employees, an officer or employee of the City or an authorized refuse contractor shall tamper or meddle with any garbage or refuse container or the contents thereof or remove the contents of any such container or remove any such container from the location where the same shall have been placed by the owner thereof or his agent, regardless of whether or not such container conforms to the requirements set forth in this code. Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be published as required by law and the same shall take effect as provided by law.
