SECTIOIl 2 94 T.,i CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE (" ,iE ~1 iY OF -SEAL BEACH The City Council of the City of Seal Beach does Ordain as follows: Section 1. Article XVII, Section 2-94 is hereby added. to Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Seal Beach and shall read as follows: "Article XVI. Water Funds Section 2-94. Water Operations' Fund. There is hereby established a Water Operations' Fund. Such Fund shall receive as revenues those amounts generated from sources designated by the City Council as funds secured through the sale and distribution of water and water services. Disbursements from such Fund shall be used for the following purposes only: (a) To pay all costs directly or indirectly associated with the maintenance and operations of the water utility. (b) To pay all costs directly or indirectly associated with the servicing of the sale or payment of water bonds. Section 2. Until expended, all monies in this Fund shall be invested to earn interest which shall be credited to the Water Operations' Fund. The City Council may authorize direct transfers from this Fund to other City funds during the fiscal year as the need arises. so long as all such monies transferred shall be returned to this Fund by June 30th of the fiscal year." The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
