Home My WebLink AboutCC Ord 1144 1983-06-13 I ORDINANCE NUMBER J',1~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 28 OF THE SEAL BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SECTION 28-2316(12), 8-FOOT HIGH FENCES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; SECTION 1. Chapter 28, Article 23, General Provisions, conditions and exceptions, yards. height, area, open space and bulk is hereby amended by adding Section 28- 2316(12) to read as follows: 28~2316(12) eight (8) foot high fences. In the following cases eight-foot high fences may be constructed where six-foot fences are permitted by this chapter: I a) Between commercial and any residential land uses. b) Along the following streets: Pacific Coast Highway Seal Beach Boulevard First Street Lampson Avenue Balsa Avenue Marina Drive San Diego Freeway Westminster Boulevard Almond Avenue Balboa Drive from Pacific Coast Hwy to Balsa Avenue c) For security in the following areas: Edison Park East Flood Control Channel, College Park East West fence of Leisure World Back yards of hill homes adjacent to vacant Hellman land and Gum Grove Park SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause same to be published as required by law.
