Home My WebLink AboutCC Ord 1147 1983-08-08 I ORDINANCE NUMBER 114./1 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH REGARDING PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING EXPENSES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 17, Article 17-6 of the Code of the City of Seal Beach, California is hereby amended to read: Section 17-6. Removal of members; vacation of office of members; compensation. Any member of the Planning Commission shall be subj~ct to removal by motion of the City Council adopted by at least three affirmative votes. The office of any member of the Planning Commission shall be vacated if such member absents himself from three regular meetings of the Commission, unless by permission of the Commission, or if he is convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude or ceases to be an elector of the City. The members of the Planning Commission shall serve without compensation, but shall receive as expenses the sum of thirty dollars ($30) per meeting, not to exceed ninety dollars ($90) per month. Section 2.
