Home My WebLink AboutCC Ord 1127 1982-09-13 I I I ORDn~ANCE"NUMBER 1/27- AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 13, ARTICLE XIII OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, ENTITLED "PRIVATE ROADS." THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 13, Article XIII, Section 13-151 of the Code of the City of Seal Beach, California is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 13-151. Specific Roads Encompassed by Article. The City Council hereby finds and detennines that the following are privately owned and maintained roads which are not generally held open for use of the public for purposes of vehicular traffic, but by reason of their proximity to or connection with highways, the interests of the residents residing' and merchants conducting business along such roads, and the motoring public, will best be served by application of provisions of the Vehicle Code of'the State and Municipal Code of the City to such roads - Surfside Avenue, Pacific Avenue, Seal Way, Phillips Avenue, and all named roads, lanes and parking areas within the boundaries of the property of the Rossmoor Business Center. Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause same to be published as required by law, pASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City counc~?of. the City-o Seal Q!!ach., California, at a meeting thereof held on the v~ day 0 .,.~(g"A-.
