I -> ORDINANCE NO, 1/.29 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CAL!tORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 28 OF THE SEAL BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SECTION 28-703 AND AMENDING SECTIONS 28-405 AND 28-804, NONCONFO~lING BUILDINGS. I The City Council of the City of Seal Beach does hereby ordain GS f~11~ws: SECTION 1. Chapter 28, Article 4, low density residential zone is hereby . amended by amending Section 28-405 to read as follows: Sec. 28-405. Nonconforming buildings. Structural alterations to nonconforming buildings such as porches, balconies, bathrooms, small storage rooms, enlargement of existing rooms or othel' similar additions may be approved by the Planning Commission by the issuance of a conditional use permit. SECTION 2. Chapter 28, Article 7, medium density residential zone is hereby amended by adding Section 28-703 to read as follows: Sec. 28-703. Nonconforming buildings. Structural alterations to nonconforming buildings such as porches, balconies, bathrooms, small storage rooms, enlargement of existing rooms or other similar additions may be approved by the Planning Commission by the issuance of a conditional use permit. I SECTION 3. Chapter 28, Article 8, high density residential zone is hereby amended by amending Section 28-804 to read as follows: Sec, 28-804. Nonconforming buildings. Structural alterations to nonconforming buildings such as porches, balconies, bathrooms, small storage rooms, enlargement of existing rooms or other similar additions may be approved by the Planning Commission by the issuance of a conditional use permit, SECTION 4.
