SEAL BEACH RECREATION AND PARKS COMMISSION
The Seal Beach Recreation and Parks Commission met in regular session on Wednesday,
April 26, 1989, in City Council Chambers. The meeting was called to order at
7:40 p.m. and the Pledge of Allegiance was given.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of January 25, 1989 were approved as written.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
There were no oral communications.
WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS
There were no written communications.

OLD BUSINESS
Osteen reported on Edison Company's offer to improve the center section of Edison
Park at no cost to the City. Proposed plans were reviewed by the Commission and
discussion followed. Osteen explained that the Edison Company did not want the
project publicized for fear other cities would request similar improvements on
Edison easements in their cities. Commissioner Petersen moved, second by Thomas,
to approve the project subject to City approval. Commissioner Weiler amended the
motion to also include, "subject to review by Councilwoman Wilson", in whose
district the park is located. The motion was unanimously approved.
NEW BUSINESS
The Commission reviewed the revised Mola plans. Discussion followed. No Commission
action was taken.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Petersen moved, second by Thomas to adjourn the meeting at 8:35 'p.m.
