The Seal Beach Recreation and Parks Commission met in regular sessior. on Tuesday,
November 27, 1979 in the Ci ty Counci 1 Chambers. The meeting was ca 1. ed to order
by Secretary Osteen at 7:40 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was given.

OLD BUSINESS
There was no old business.

NEW BUSINESS
A. Election of Officers. Torem was nominated and rec~ived a unanimous vote for
the office of Chairperson. Flint was nominated and received a unanimous vote for
the office of Vice-Chairperson. Torem presided for the remainder of the meeting.
B. S.B. 174 Grant. Osteen brought Commissioners up-to-date Gn grant application
to improve McGaugh baseball diamond. Discussion followed.
C. City/School District Maintenance Agreement. Osteen read proposed agreement
and discussion followed. Commissioners requested an up-date on proposed tennis
court maintenance agreement. They indicated a willingness to assist in the formu-
lation of a revised tennis court agreement if City Council should so direct.
Moerbeek moved, seconded by Ehler to conduct next regular meeting in January due
to busy December schedules. It was-unanimously approved.
ADJOURNMENT
Ehler moved, seconded by Moer'beek to ad.lourn the meeting at 9:15 f,.m. It was unan'i-
mously approved.
