HomeMy WebLinkAboutPRC Min 1973-02-06 SEAL BEACH PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION ce The Seal Beach Park and Recreation Commission met in regular session on Tuesday, February 6, 1973, in the Council Chambers, City Administration Building. The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Harding at 7:40 p.m. and the Pledge of Allegiance was given. ' ROLL CALL Present: Absent: Case, Harding, Payne Dreyer, Torem APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of January 2 and 16, 1973 were approved as written. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS There were 110 oral communications. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS There were no written communications. OLD BUSINESS 1. Commission By-Laws. Case moved, Payne second, to table discussion of by-laws until all members are present. AYES: Case, Harding, Payne NOES: None Motion carried. 2.. Ordinance Review. Case moved, Payne second, to table discussion of ordinance until all members are present. AYES: Case, Harding, Payne NOES: None Motion carried. . 3. Shapell Park Equipment Relocation. Case moved, estimate for tree expenditure from $4,000 to $2,000 AYES: Case. Harding. Payne NOES: None Payne second to lower the and delete chain link fence. Motion carried. Harding moved. Payne second, to submit to City Council the list of names for Shapell Park that had been approved by Commission. AYES: Case. Harding, Payne NOES: None Motion carried. 4. Fees and Charges - Community Center Buildings. Commissioners discussed Ordinance 1697, Sections 1. 2. and 3. It was decided to table furthel' discussion until staff could prepare a sample revision.
