SEAL BEACH CABLE COMMUNICATIONS FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES FOR MARCH 20, 2006 The Board of Directors for the Seal Beach Cable Communications Foundation met on March 20, 2006 at the Seal Beach Studio in Seal Beach, California. Board President, Dick Davies called the meeting to order at 7:03pm. PJ,EDGJ; O~ j\LLEQ~j;E. The pledge of allegiance was led by Mr. Davies. R.QLL C~ Ms. Martin. Ms. WaIz, Ms. Lee, Mr. Anninos, Mr. Davies. Robin Fort-Lincke, the PEO Station Manager and Mr. Russ Bllllman, the Chief Engineer were present. AYES: Ms. Martin, Mr. Anninos, Ms. WaIz, Ms. Lee, Mr. Davies NA YES: -0- MOTION PASSED: 5-0 gm~J~J' ~ALEm!.yl MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 20, 2006 BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING Motion was made by Ms. Lee and seconded by Ms. WaIz to approve the minutes of the February 20,2006 Board of Directors meeting with corrections. AYES: Ms. Lee, Ms. WaIz, Ms. Martin, Mr. Anninos NAYES: -0- ABSTENTION: Mr. Davies MOTION PASSED: 4-0, I abstention ~IJE~K REOUUI Ms. Martin made a motion to accept aDd pay the items listed on the check request. Lincke and the city statement. Ms. Lee seconded the motion. AYES: Ms. Martin. Mr. Davies, Ms. Lee, Ms. WaIz, Mr. Anninos NA YES: -0- MOTION PASSED: 5-0 01.0 BUSINESS EQUIPMENT REPAIR Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that the Panasonic record S- VHS deck in the L W editing bay was back and operating in the system. Mr. Anninos stated that he would pick up battery replacements for the battery belt used by the L W video producers. There was discussion about getting information on the Ikegami video monitors in the studio as to whether or not they may be repairable depending upon the estimates. FUNDING FOR PROGRAMS . Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that the McGaugh school3n1 grade concert had been covered and the next scheduled shoot would be the McGaugh lit Grade concert on April 6th. AllDlE:t!CE C()MMUNIC.\nO~ There was no audience communication. u,PQm PEG STATION MANAGERlEXECUTIVE DIRECTOR REPORT Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that one of the longtime producers, Terri Quinlan had lost her mother and she sent a floral ammgement from the board and producers. She also stated that the WAVE award presentation would be either April4lb or April 24lb. CHIEF ENGINEER REPORT Mr. Bauman gave a short report on his trip to Colorado to pick up the Grass Valley switcher that was donated by the 1V station in Vail, Colorado, along with many other equipment items.
