SEAL BEACH CABLE COMMUNICATIONS FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES FOR FEBRUARY 20, 2006 The Board of Directors for the Seal Beach Cable Communications Foundation met on February 20, 2006 at the Seal Beach Studio in Seal Beach, California. Board Secretary, Betty Martin called the meeting to order at 7:15pm. PW;OOE QF ~~.MNCI The pledge ofallegiance was led by Mr. Anninos. ROllI. CALL Ms. Martin, Ms. WaIz, Ms. Lee and Mr. Anninos were present. Mr. Davies was not present and 1ater excused. Robin Fort-Lincke, the PEG Station Manager and Mr. Russ Bauman, the Chief Engineer were present. ~~OV~L OF 'Ult: AGE~A Motion was made by Ms. WaIz to approve the agenda and seconded by Ms. Lee. Mr. Anninos, Ms. WaIz, Ms. Lee NA YES: -0- MOTION PASSED: 4-0 C.QNSEN:J: C~ND~ MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 21. 2005 BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING Motion was made by Mr. Anninos and seconded by Ms. WaIz to approve the minutes of the November 21, 2005 Board of Directors meeting. AYES: Ms. Lee, Ms. WaIz, Ms. Martin. Mr. Anninos NJ\YES: -0- MOTION PASSED: 4-0 CHECK REQUESt Mr. Anninos made a motion to accept aDd pay the items listed on the check request. FINANCIAL STATEMENT Mr. Anninos made a motion to receive and file the fmancial statement prepared by Ms. Fort- Lincke. Ms. Lee seconded the motion. Ms. Fort-Lincke will send the completed report when the missing numbers come in from the city. AYES: Ms. Martin, Ms. Lee, Ms. WaIz, Mr. Anninos NAYES: -0- MOTION PASSED: 4-0 OLD BUSINESS EQUIPMENT REPAIR Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that the Panasonic record S- VHS deck was taken to VTR services for repair after it was determined that a problem did not exist with the monitor, but with the deck. She said that the VTR repair place also repairs crt monitors now. There was discussion about this and S- VHS decks and the fiIct that many are no longer made. She also stated that Mr. Russ Bauman purchased 4 black and white tv's that could be used for monitors with the camcorders. She said that two would be going to the Leisure World producers right away. She stated that Mr. Bauman has found them on sale and called her and she decided to purchase 4. FUNDING FOR PROGRAMS Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that the next upcoming board funded shoot would be the McGaugh school3n1 grade concert. She stated that the Miss Seal Beach Pageant had been delayed until May. There was discussion. ~UDD(NCE CO~CA.TJON There was no audience communication. gPQB.TS PEG STATION MANAGERlEXECUTIVE DIRECTOR REPORT Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that one of the longtime producers, Dominic Dimare, had lost his fi1ther and she sent a floral arrangement from the board. She also stated that LATV3 board meInber Althea Miller, had lost her husband and that she sent a card to Ms. Miller on behalf of the board.
