Board President, Dick Davies ca1led the meeting to order at 7:15pm. PLEDGE OF ALL'G~g The pledge ofaIIegiance was led by Mr. Davies. ROLL CALL Mr. Davies, Ms. Walz and Mr. Anninos were present. Mr. Furman and Ms. Martin were not present and excused. Robin Fort~Lincke. the PEG Station Manager and Russ Bauman, Chief Engineer were present. ~'.BOVAL OF T{IE AGENDA Motion was made by Mr. Anninos to approve the agenda and it was seconded by Ms. Walz. AYES: Mr. Davies, Mr. Anninos, Ms. Walz NAYES: .0- MOTION PASSED: 3-0 " CQNSENT CALEND.\R MINUTES OF MARCH IS, 2004 BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING It was determined that there was no quorum for these minutes and therefore this item would be canied over to the next regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting. MINUTES OF OCTOBER 20, 2003, BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING It was determined that there was no quorum for these minutes and therefore this item would be email to the qUOl1lDl members for approval and a vote. CIq:CK REOUESt o Mr. Anninos made a motion to accept and pay the items listed on the check request with the phone bill to be approximately $300. Ms. Walz seconded the motion. FINANCIAL STATEMENT Ms. WaIz made a motion to receive and file the financial statement prepared by Ms. Fort-Lineke. The motion was seconded by Mr. Anninos. AYES: Ms. WaIz, Mr. Davies, Mr. Anninos NA YES: -0- MOTION PASSED: 3-0 OLD BUSINESS EQUIPMENT REPAIR Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that there was nothing new that she was aware of that needed to be repaired. Mr. Bauman concurred. FUNDING FOR PROGRAMS Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that the completed programs included the Miss Seal Beach pageant, McGaugh 3n1 Grade Concert and Springfest. The next upcoming board funded programs would be McGaugh Pageant of the Arts and the 1 SI Grade Concert. Avp~CJ: CO~CATI.m! There was no audience communication. ~ PEG STATION MANAGERlEXECUTIVE DIRECTOR REPORT Ms. Fort-Lincke advised the board that she had painted tiles for the new comnnmity center wall in Sunset Beach and that she had painted the SBTV -3 logo on the tiles. She explained that this involved the purchase of 4 tiles and displayed the way the tiles would appear on the wall She also displayed the new SBTV-3 t-shirts for LW and Old Town and explained that the board members would receive their shirts after the meeting. CHIEF ENGINEER REPORT Mr. Bauman stated that he had nothing new to report and was unaware of anything broken. gyuu;SPO~E~CE Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that she had received a letter from the IRS that she forwarded to Mr. Steve Shay.
