A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
(MOU) BETWEEN THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH AND THE SEAL
BEACH POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION FOR THE PERIOD
OF JULY 1, 2025, THROUGH JUNE 30, 2027
WHEREAS, the City and the Seal Beach Police Officers Association met jointly
and collectively bargained in good faith and reached an agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council gave authority to the City Manager to place the
proposed MOU on the agenda of the meeting of December 8, 2025, for City
Council action; and,
WHEREAS, the contracts between the City and the Association are for the time
period of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027; and,
WHEREAS, Budget Amendment BA #26-06-01 will allocate $56,639.28 from
General Fund unassigned fund balance as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, the Seal Beach City Council does resolve, declare,
determine, and order as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) between the City of Seal Beach and the Seal
Beach Police Officers Association.
Section 2. The City Council hereby approves Budget Amendment
BA #26-06-01.
Section 3. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute
the MOU and take all actions necessary to implement its rights and
obligations.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the Seal Beach City Council at a
regular meeting held on the 8th day of December 2025 by the following vote:
