Dear Mr. Temple,
As a resident of Seal Beach and a frequent visitor to Gum Grove Park and the Heron Pointe
educational trails, I am writing to express my concern about further damage to the precious
Wetlands and wildlife in the area where the solar field is proposed. This is ancient indigenous land
which needs to be preserved and protected. Our indigenous foremothers and forefathers have
already had to sacrifice much of their sacred land. I urge you to restore and protect this sacred land.
There are many rooftops and non Sacred Land where solar panels could be placed. Protect this
sacred land and expand the wetlands, not destroy them.
A full EIR is needed, but beyond that, build elsewhere, not adjacent to and on priceless, irreplaceable
wetlands.
Please, be a good ancestor.
