There are over 130 species of birds documented on the Los Cerritos Wetlands including Belding's Savannah Sparrow, Burrowing Owl, Red-tailed Hawk, Red-Shouldered Hawk, Least Bell's Vireo. Our chapter, our members and community members in Seal Beach have long championed the preservation of Los Cerritos Wetlands — we urge caution to protect this precious resource. Sincerely, Mary Parsell El Dorado Audubon cc: Mr. Mark Stanley, Los Cerritos Authority
