Dear Mr. Temple and members of the Seal Beach City Council:
We urge the City of Seal Beach to require a full Environmental Impact Report before
proceeding with this project which is adjacent to the Los Cerritos Wetlands Authority property.
There are over 130 species of birds documented on the Los Cerritos Wetlands including
Belding's Savannah Sparrow, Burrowing Owl, Red-tailed Hawk, Red-Shouldered Hawk, Least
Bell's Vireo.
Our chapter, our members and community members in Seal Beach have long championed the
preservation of Los Cerritos Wetlands — we urge caution to protect this precious resource.
Sincerely,
Mary Parsell
