Subject:EIR for Hellman Solar PV Electrical System Project
Dear Mr. Temple,
We are residents of Seal Beach and want to express our concern regarding the proposed Hellman solar project and its
impacts on the on the Los Cerritos wetlands and neighboring communities. The wetlands are a very sensitive ecosystem
and the proposed project can have serious impacts to the flora and fauna, and protected species. Therefore, a full
Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is needed to insure all the potential environmental impacts have been fully and
correctly analyzed and reviewed.
If the potential impacts of this project are not fully reviewed with an EIR, there could be quite devastating impacts on the
wetland wildlife in this very sensitive habitat. It is our duty as citizens to protect these sensitive areas and our planet, and
so the City of Seal Beach should do the right thing and prepare a full EIR. Please share our views with the full City
Council.
