Subject:Solar Panel Project adjacent to Wetlands
Dear Mr. Temple,
I'm a resident of Long Beach and have supported wetlands restoration along the San Gabriel River,
including Seal Beach, for over 25 years.
A full EIR is required for the Hellman property's proposed solar panel project. It's simply too close to
important sensitive habitat.
Ask the applicant to do this properly, without cutting corners, to learn more about the impacts -
known or unknown - that could affect this habitat.
Is it true that the anticipated power expected from this solar array will power only the Hellman
property needs?
If so, that's a poor reason to endanger this important habitat and the future restoration of this
property.
And even more importantly, to understand all the potential impacts this solar array will present.
