HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Res 7770 2026-05-11 RESOLUTION 7770 A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO RENEW A CONTRACT WITH READY REBOUND TO SUPPORT OFFICER WELLNESS AND RECOVERY SERVICES WHEREAS, the Seal Beach Police Department recognizes the importance of proactive wellness programs in maintaining the health, safety, and operational readiness of its sworn personnel; and, WHEREAS, Ready Rebound is an organization specializing in recovery and injury prevention services tailored to the unique needs of law enforcement and first responders; and, WHEREAS, the Seal Beach Police Department seeks to renew a contract with Ready Rebound to support officer wellness through structured recovery plans, mental and physical readiness services, and return-to-duty support; and, WHEREAS, the funding for this program will be allocated from the Police Department's existing wellness program budget, with an annual increase in price of 3%. NOW, THEREFORE, the Seal Beach City Council does resolve, declare, determine, and order as follows: Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the Seal Beach Police Department renewing a service agreement with Ready Rebound to provide officer recovery and wellness services. Section 2. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager or his designee to execute the necessary documents to implement this program, and to allocate up to $15,960.00 for year one and 3% increase per year for additional years up to five years.
