When access to the Navy base changed, Lt. Julia Clasby
and Captain Mike Ezroj quickly stepped in to help plan
the backup course and support the transition.
Special thanks to Cpl. Jacob Otto for serving as incident
commander, Chief Henderson for walking the event once
again and Mayor Pro Tem Ben Wong for helping start and
participate in the race.
67 City staff members, along with family and friends,
joined this year’s race — a Run Seal Beach record.
