ORDINANCE NO. ~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH AMENDINr, CHAPTER 28 (ZONING) OF THE CITY CODE, ARTICLE 5, SECTION 28-506 (5)(a) AND (d) TO PERMIT WINDSCREENS TO BE CONSTR~CTED ON 10 FOOT WIDE DECKS LOCATED ON LAND LEASED FROM SURFS IDE COLONY ADJACENT TO RESIDENCES ON "A" ROW. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Article 5, Section 28-506 (5)(a) and (d) of Chapter 28 (Zoning) of the City Code is amended to read as follows: (a) First floor - - ten feet with glass deck enclosure; (d) The decking may have a forty-two inch high guard railing installed thereon as required by the building code. On the first floor deck, in addition to the forty-two inch high guard railing, a glass deck enclosure may be added. The qlass enclosure shall not exceed 8 feet measured from the finished floor of the deck. No glass panel shall be less than 3 feet by 3 feet. All glass above the for~y-two inch high guard railing shall be clear, untinted glass. No portion of the glass enclosure shall be covered or roofed in any manner. Section 2.
