HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Res 2956 1980-03-24 I RESOLUTION NUMBER 02 9S"~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO REMOVE DEBRIS FROM THE BEACH AND DECLARING THE NECESSITY THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Seal Beach does hereby resolve: WHEREAS, the accumulation of debris is unsightly and is also a public nuisance; and WHEREAS, there exists an urgent necessity to remove the accumulation of debris due to the potential health hazard caused by decomposing organi cs; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Seal Beach as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council declares that the prompt removal of accumulated debris is of urgent necessity because of the potential health hazard. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to retain a contractor to immediately remove the debris. I SECTION 2.
