A CHARTER CITY, NAMING THE ELECTION OFFICERS AND POLLING PLACES FOR THE PRIMARY MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH ON TUESDAY, THE 25th DAY OF MARCH. 1980, FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS OF SAID CITY AS REQUIRED BY THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, Ordinance Number 1076 calling and giving notice of a Primary Nominating Municipal Election to be held in the City of Seal Beach on Tuesday, the 25th day of March, 1980. was adopted on December 10, 1979; and WHEREAS. the Elections Code of the State of California provides for the appointment of precinct election officers and designation of polling places. NOW, THEREFORE. the City Council of the City of Seal Beach hereby resolves: I Section 1. That for the purpose of holding said Primary Nominating Municipal Election. there shall be and are hereby established twenty-one (21) voting precincts consisting of consolidations of the regular election precincts in the City of Seal Beach established for the holding of State and County elections. as said regular election precincts exist on the date of adoption of this resolution. That the polling places for the respective precincts shall be the places hereinafter designated; and that the persons hereinafter named, being competent and qual ified electors and res~.dents of said City and of their respective voting precincts. are hereby appointed Officers of Election and they shall hold said election and make return thereof in the manner provided by law.
