" , ORDINANCE NO. r?7i AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "CITY OF SEAL BEACH ANNEXATION NO. 75-1" TO THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. On the 23rd day of June, 1975, the City Counci~ of the City of Seal Beach on its own motion initiated proceed~ngs for the annexation of certain uninhabited territory to the City of Seal Beach. Section 2. That the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County, California, did in session duly assembled on June 11, 1975, approve the proposed annexation and the boundaries thereof, duly submitted to said Commission in accor- dance with law. Section 3. On the 23rd day of June, 1975, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. '2445, giving notice of the proposal to annex said uninhabi~ed territory to the City of Seal Beach, said territory being therein designated as City of Seal Beach Annexation No. 75-1, which Resolution described the boundaries of the territory so proposed to be annexed. Section 4. Said Resolution No. 2445 contained a notice of the day, hour and place when and where the said Council of said City would hear protests made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than forty (40) nor more than sixty (60) days from the date of passage of said Resolution. A copy of Resolution No. 2445 was transmitted to the State Lands Commission and to the governing board of each school district which, in part or in whole, is included in the territory to be annexed, and which has made written request therefor. Section 5. On the 11th day of August, 1975, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. at 211 Eighth Street, in the City of Seal Beach, said time and place being the day and hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2445 for hearing protests to said annexation, the said Council of said City did hear and pass upon all protests made to said proposed annexation and did find and declare by resolution that protests to said proposed annexa- tion have not been made by private and public owners of one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed, and that a majority protest has not been made. Section 6. Said territory is contiguous to the City of Seal Beach and is uninhabited territory in the County of Orange. Section 7. The City Council of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve the annexation of said territory hereinafter described, to the City of Seal Beach, and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Seal Beach. ,I I I " Ordinance Number .
