ORDINANCE NUMBER ~~
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, PERTAINING TO CITY
EMPLOYEES AND AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BEACH.
The City Council of the City of Seal Beach does hereby ordain
as follows:
Section I. Chapter 7 of the Code of the City of Seal Beach is
amended as follows:
Sections 7-37 to and including 7-51, inclusive,
are repealed.
Section 2. A new Section 7-37 of Chapter 7 of said Code is
hereby adopted to read:
Section 737. Establishment of Salary Ranqe,
Vacations, Holidays, Days Off, Sick Leave, and
Retirement. The City Council may, by minute
order or resolution, establish the vacations,
holidays, days off, sick leave, retirement, and
salary range for all city employees. Notwith-
standing the generality of the foregoing sentence
no vested right in any city employee as to any
salary range number or range letter shall be
deemed to exist by reason of the adoption of this
Chapter or the establishment of the salary range
number or letter.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Seal Beach, at a regular meeting thereof held on the ____ day of
