AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BF.ACII AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 628 (ZONING) WITII THE A.l>\ENDMENT OF
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP BY ZONING THAT PORTION OF
THE CITY WHICH LIES 1-.'EST OF THE SAN GABRIF.L RIVER
AND SOUTH OR MARINA DRIVE C-l, SERVICE COMMERCIAL
ZONE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOIffl:
Section 1. With reference to the Official City ?oning ~Ap, {lrdinance No. 628
(Zoning) is hereby amended by zoninR that portion of the City which lies West
of the San Gabriel River and South of Marina nrive C-l, Service Commercial
Zone; specifically described and illustrated by map in Exhibit "A" attached.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance by
the City Council of the City of Seal Beach and shall cause the same to be
posted according to law and it shall take effect thir~y (30) days after its
final passage and adoption.

~~RREAS, in the ~ateer of Zone Change Application No. CZ-1-70 the Planning
Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject request initiated by the City of Seal Beach.
2. See attached sheets for legal description and map.
3. Apl'licant request zoning property which presently is unzoned to C-l
Service Commercial.
I~RREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. The zone change is in compliance with the commercial development of that
immediate area, the Seaport Village Complex.

2. The land, while located in the City of Seal Beach, is o,med by the City
of I.ong Beach.
NOH, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOT.VED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve Zone Cbanf.!e Application 110. CZ-1-70 and recommends
its adoption by the City Council. .
