ORDINANCE NO~
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH
AMENDING SECTIONS 2-47 and 2-48 OF THE
CITY CODE DECLARING A NEED FOR THE RE-
DEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND DESIGNATING
FIVE APPOINTIVE RESIDENT ELECTORS AS
MEMBERS THEREOF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN:
Section 1. Section 2-47 of the Seal Beach City Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
It is hereby found and declared, pursuant to Section 33101
of the Community Redevelopment Law, that there is a need
for the Redevelopment Agency created by Section 33100 of
such law to function in this City, and such agency is hereby
authorized to transact business and exercise its powers
under the Community Redevelopment Law.
Section 2. Section 2-48 of the Seal Beach City Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 33110 of the Community
Redevelopment Law, the City Council hereby declares and
establishes that the agency shall be composed of five resident
electors of the community appointed by the Mayor with the
approval of the legislative body as members of the agency.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Seal Beach is hereby directed
to caus e this ordinance to be posted as required by law.
