Ripperdan arrl Knapp cameroed Mr. Cook' s service on the Planning Ccmnission arrl directed Staff to prepare a resolution honoring Mr. Cook for his service on the Carmission. Motion by Ripperdan, seconded by Knapp arrl unaniIrcusly approved. MINUI'E ORIER PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Housing -and Ccmmmity Develqment, H/CO PRCXiRAM Secretary presented a brief staff report outlining proposed projects for Sixth Year arrl introouced Anna Phillips, Orange ColIDty'S H/CO Representative to Seal Beach for' the H/CO Program. Public Hearing opened. Knapp aked about the proposed total H/CD trailer park funds. Secretary stated tha.t 240,000 is proposed to care fran H/Ol_ and the remaining money would cane fran the Redeveloprent Agency. Covington asked what the $150,000 would be used for in the project. Secretary indicated that the funds w::uld pay for replacanent of 25 cabanas. Mrs. Brown, 212 14th Street, asked whether all cabanas woold I:e replaced. Secretary stated that all legal cabanas would I:e replaced. (Approximately 6 legal and 19 illegal cabanas will be replaced with these funds.) Discussion follcw=d on varioos housing projects in the County and public works projects. Anna Phillips stated that low an:1 mcx'Ierate incx:rre to.lsing is the County's priority with housing rehabilitation also receiving high priority while public works is at the present time IlU1ch closer to the botton of the list.
