AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH
CALIFORNIA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 628
(ZONING) WITH TilE ADDITION OF ARTICLE
l5B ,S-P PARKING ZONE.
TilE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOHS:
Section 1. Article l5B S-P Parking Zone is hereby added to Ordinance
628 (Zoning) and' as added shall read as follows:
Article l5B S-P Parking Zone.
Section l500B Uses Permi~ted.,
1. Parking Garages
2. Carports
3. Patios
Section l50lB Yard Requirements
1. Front Yard: The front yard setback shall be two and one-half
(2~) feet .from street or alley right-of-way.
2. Side Yard: Garages or carports shall have a zero setback
s!deyard along one property line, provided a five (5) foot set-
back sideyard is provided along the opposite side property
,line.
3. Rear Yard: No minimum rear yard.
Section l502B Parking Requirements,
1. Garages shall provide a minimum width of nine (9) feet
inside dimension per stall and twenty (20) feet in depth.

2. Garage Access: All vehicular access to garages or carports
shall be from an alley" collector or local street. The
intent of this provision 'is to reduce 'conflict .points of
individual driveways intersecting Arterial Highways.
Section l503B Maximum Building Height
1. The maximum building height shall not exceed ten (10) feet
or one story whichever is'the most restrictive.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance
by the City Council of the City of Seal Beach and shall cause
the same to be posted according to iaw, and it shall take effect
thirty (30) days after its final passage and adoption.
