'," " THE CITYCOUNCIV OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: " ARTICLEV11. 'DISPOSAL OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY . , Section 2-46. Sa1eable'property; notice of public sale. , , Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1873 ,of the Civil Code of the' State of california; the Chief, of Police ,of the City of Seal Beach may offer at public auction to the highest bidder,. after five (5) days notic~ in a.,newspaper of general circulation published within Orange County, California, or posted as provided by law, all saleable and unclaimed personal property' abandoned within the City of Seal Beach or otherwise coming into possession of the Chief of Police, except property the disposition of which is governed by Section '1411 'of the Penal Code of the 'State of California. Said notice shall state the description of the articles offered for sale, and the time and place of sale.
