Home My WebLink AboutCC Res 2711 1977-11-14 1 I, I RESOLUTION NO. c:l7// A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH REGARDING PROPOSED SALE OF REAL PROPERTY AND SETTING PUBLIC HEARING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH HEREBY FINDS, DETERMINES AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The public interest and convenience require the sale of that certain parcel of real property which is dedicated to public use for a City Corporation Yard located at 300 First Street in the City of Seal Beach, California. Said real property is described on Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof and is shown on tentative Tract Map No. 9814 on file in the Office of the City Clerk. Section 2. The City proposes to reserve easements on said real property. for utilities, storm drains, street and traffic signs, and landscaping. (1,j f/: DO j/IV Section 3. December 12, 1977, at ~ p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 211 Eighth Street, in Seal Beach, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing protests with respect to the proposed sale. At said time and place, any person objecting to the proposed sale may be heard with respect thereto. Final action will be taken by the City Council on January 23, 1978 or as soon thereafter as the sale may reasonably be accomplished. Protests may be written and delivered to the City Clerk or may be made orally ~t the hearing. Section 4. The City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this Resolution to be published once in the Santa Ana Register and in the Seal Beach Journal, such publication to be made not later than November 30, 1977. The City Clerk is further directed to post copies of this Resolution in three public places desig- nated for the posting of ordinances and resolutions in the City not later than November 30, 1977.
