RESOLUTION NO. .21k (
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH REGARDING PROTESTS TO
CITY OF SEAL BEACH ANNEXATION NO. 75-1.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of June, 1975, the City
Council of the City of Seal Beach passed and adopted ~esolu-
tion No. 2445 initiating proceedings for the annexation of
certain uninhabited territory to the City of Seal Beach and
giving notice of the proposal to annex such territory, said
territory being therein designated as "City of Seal Beach
Annexation 75-1", and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2445 said City
Council duly conducted a public hearing and heard and passed
upon any and all protests made with respect, to such annexa-
tion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Seal Beach hereby finds and declares that
protests to said proposed annexation have not been made by
private and public owners of one-half of the value of the
territory proposed to be annexed, and that a majority protest
has not been made.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council
of ~he City of ~l Beach at a meeting thereof held on the
