A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL
BEACH REQUESTING PERMISSION OF THE CALIFORNIA
DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS TO ESTABLISH A RED CURB "NO
PARKING" ZONE ON PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY AT THE
CORNER OF BAY BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the traffic bureau of the Police Department of the City of Seal Beach has
made a study of the traffic saf~ty problem resulting from the psrking of autos
on the south side of Pacific Coast Highway (State Highway 1) adjacent to the
southwest comer of Bay Bouil:evard and recommends the establishment of a "No parkinng"
zone at this location, and
WHEREAS, the City Traffic Engineer concurs in this recommendation; and
WHEREAS, a sketch map has been prepared indicating the proposed area to be
painted as a red curb "No Parking" zone;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that permission is hereby requested of the California
Division of Highways for the City of Seal Beach to establish a "No Parking" zone
on the south side of Pacific Coast Highway (California 1) at the southwestern
comer of Bay Boulevard by painting the curb red as indicated on the attached
sketch map dated January 12, 1967.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Seal Beach at
a meeting thereof held on 9-AJAAJ.Mf <2/ , 1967, by the following vote:
