RESOLtrrION NO. /s-r,y A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS AND CERTAIN STREETS IN TRACTS 6016, 6172, AND 6173 IN THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO PROCEED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE STREET VACATION Af:r. OF 1941, AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR A HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION. The City Council of the City of Seal Beach does resolve as follows: Section 1. Declaration of Intention. The City Council declares its intention to order the vacation of a portion of Elder Avenue in Tract 6016, offered for dedication at a meeting of the City Council held on March 7, 1967, and those portions of Elder Avenue, Dogwood Avenue, Cand1eberry Avenue, Oleander street and Wisteria Street, and all of Basswood Avenue, Almond Avenue, Jasmin Street, and Marigold Street in Tracts 6172 and 6173 offered for dedication at a meeting of the City Council held on June 27, 1967, on the grounds that these tracts have been redesigned and new streets will be dedicated in the place of those being vacated. Section 2. Election to Proceed. The City Council elects to pro- ceed under the provision of the Street Vacation Act of 1941. Section 3. of Tracts 6016, hereto and made Description of the Proposed Vacation. Those portions 6172, and 6173 as described in Exhibit "A" attached a part hereof. Section 4. Hearing. A public hearing will be held on the 19th day of June, 1967, at 8:00 p.m., before the City Council in the Council Chamber at the Seal Beach City Hall, at which time and place all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation will be heard. Section 5. publication of Resolution. The City Clerk is instructed to publish this resolution once in the Marina News within fifte~n (15) days after its adoption. Section 6. Posting of Notice. The City Clerk is instructed to cause to be posted notices of street vacation in this matter in accordance with the provisions of Section 8322, Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
