A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, A CHARTER CITY, NAMING
PARKS - RECREATION AREAS.
HEREAS ,
Tedrow Corp., an associate of S & S Construction Company,
David Shapell and Nathan Shapell, principals, did on
September 5, 1967, grant to the City of Seal Beach, fee
title to land in the College Park East development,
designated as 4600 Almond Avenue, said land being utilized
as a park-recreation facility; and
REAS,
Southern California Edison Company, did on February 27, 1967
lease to the City of Seal Beach land adjacent to the College
Park West development, designated as 99 College Park Drive,
s~id land being restricted to park purposes; and
The Lakewood Rancho and Los Coyotes Land Company, DBA
Rossmoor Business Center, did make land available and
advance funds for a recreation - community building at
3333 St. Cloud Drive:

OW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, A CHARTER CITY:
Section 1, The park-recreation area at 4600 Almond Avenue
shall be known as Shapell Park.
Section 2,
be known as
The park area at 99 College Park Drive shall
Edison park.
Section 3. The recreation - community building at
3333 St, Cloud Drive shall be known as
North Seal Beach Community Center,
