A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING VACATION
OF A PORTION OF LOS ALAMITOS BOULEVARD, BEING
A PORTION OF SUPERSEDED STATE HIGHWAY LOS
ALAMITOS BOULEVARD, ROAD 07-0RA-605, IN THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH.
TIle City Council of the City of Seal Beach does resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Seal Beach did, heretofore,
on the 4th day of March, 1968, by Resolution Number 1639, declare its
intention to 'order the vacation of a portion of Los Alamitos Boulevard,
being a portion of superseded State Highway Los Alamitos Boulevard,
Road 07-0RA-605, described as follows:

Those portions of the South Half of Section 31, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, S~n Bernardino Meridan, lying within the Rancho Los
Alamitos in the City of Seal Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
as per map filed in Decree of partition in the Superior Court of Los
Angeles County, State of California, Case No, 13527, a certified copy
of which was recorded February 2, l89l, in Book 14, Page 31 of Deeds
records of said Orange County described as follows:
Parcel l, That portion of the West Half of Los Alamitos Boulevard,
80 feet wide, as granted to said Orange County by deed recorded
May 25, 1933, in Book 6l5, Page 209 of Official Records of said County,
bounded westerly by the west~rly line of said Los Alamitos Boulevard;
bounded northwesterly by the southeasterly and southerly boundary of
relocated Los Alamitos Boulevard included in the "Relinquishment of
Superseded State Highway" passed by the.California Highway Commission
and recorded September 21, 1966, as Document No, 1913, in Book 8067,
Page 783 of said Offic~~l Records; bounded easterly by the centerline
of said Los Alamitos Boulevard; and bounded southeasterly by the
northwesterly line of the "Abandonment of Superseded State Highway"
passed by the California Highway Commission and recorded October 4, 1965,
as Document No, 2112 in Book 7689, Page 785 of said Official Records.

WHEREAS, The City Council did, at said time, declare March 18, 1968,
at the hour of 8:00 p,m" o'clock, at the Council Chambers at the
Seal Beach City Hall, as the time and place for any and all persons
having objections to the proposed vacation of said streets, herein-
above described, to appear and object to the vacation thereof; and
WHEREAS, Notice thereof was duly posted in the manner prescribed by
law and that the affidavits of posting thereof are on file in the
office of the City Clerk, and evidence having been received that the
respective portion of the above-herein described streets are unnecessary
for present or prospective public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l, That pursuant to the foregoing resolution of intention and
the proceedings had hereunder, the City Council of the City of Seal
Beach hereby makes its order vacating a portion of Los Alamitos
Boulevard as described herein,
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
of this Resolution and shall cause the same to be posted in accordance
with City of Seal Beach ordinances and state law,
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Seal Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the lSth day of
