SUBJECT: Termination of Agreement for Financial Consulting
Services in the Administration of Community Facilities
District 2005-01 "Pacific Gateway".
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:

That City Council approve the termination of financial consulting services with David
Taussig & Associates for Community Facilities District No. 2005-01 "Pacific Gateway".
BACKGROUND:
In June 2006 the City entered into an agreement with David Taussig & Associates for
financial consulting services in administration of Community Facilities District No. "
2005-01. At this time the City wishes to tenninate that agreement and have the services
provided by another company. The existing agreement requires a 30 day written notice
of tennination. City Council action on this item is needed to start the 30 day notice
requirement. After the 30 days have expired the City can contract with a new vendor for
administration services.
District assessments for the current fiscal year have already been established by the City.
Changing service providers at this time should not create any negative impact on
administration of the district.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact to the City.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the termination of financial consulting services with David Taussig &
Associates for Community Facilities District No. 2005-01 "Pacific Gateway".
