SUMMARY OF REQUEST
Confirm District Five (Levitt) appointment of Paul Burger to the Archeological Advisory
Committee.
BACKGROUND
Vacancy on the Archeological Advisory Committee for Councilmanic District Five was created
due to the resignation of Mr. Robert "Gene" Vesely. Notice of the vacancy was posted for the
required ten day period and the Office of the City Clerk received the names from all interested
candidates and forwarded them to Councilman Levitt.
e Mr. Paul Burger is currently enrolled as a graduate student in anthropology with a specialization
in archaeology and has extensive experience in managing environmental concems for
industrial/commercial development. Paul is a resident of Seal Beach.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None
RECOMMENDATION
Confirm District Five (Levitt) appointment of Paul Burger to the Archeological Advisory
Committee.
