Cancellation of the June 12,2006 City Council Meeting

BACKGROUND:
Budget workshops are scheduled for June 5, 6, and 7 (if necessary) beginning at 5:00 pm.
The proposed budget workshops are scheduled for the same week as agenda items are
due for the June 12, 2006 City Council meeting. Having the budget workshops and
agenda preparation for the June 12th City Council meeting at the same time will overload
staff. Due to these workload constraints, staff is requesting that City Council cancel the
June 12, 2006 City Council meeting.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
Cancel the June 12, 2006 City Council meeting.
