A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEAL BEACH. CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO DESTROY CERTAIN CITY RECORDS AND
DOCUMENTS PURSUANT TO THE GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
Sections 34090. 34090.5 and 34090.7 of the Government Code
of the State of California provide for the destruction of
certain city records and documents. with the approval of the
legislative body by resolution and the written consent of
the City Attorney; and
in the opinion of the City Clerk. the records and documents
listed hereinafter are not of sufficient historical. administrative,
legal, fiscal. research or other value, to justify their
retentfonl and.
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has consented to the destruction of such
documents and records; and

WHEREAS, a list of the documents and records to be destroyed is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Seal Beach does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to destroy
those records and documents shown on the attached list in accordance with
the proviSions of Sections 34090. 34090.5 and 34090.7 of the Government Code.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
